After obtaining two Master’s degrees from the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon (Biosciences and Systems Biology), he successfully pursued a PhD in molecular biology at the University of Nice where his interest in the power of big data analyses started. He then further specialised in bioinformatics and has now been working with large-scale biological data in academic as well as company contexts. He has been using his machine learning knowledge to optimise the already existing tools and build new prediction algorithms, mainly focusing on developing high specificity pipeline (avoiding false positives).
As CTO, Bruno oversees the bioinformatic developments within the company, and provides sound technical leadership in all aspects of the business.
