Lore has graduated as a Bioscience Engineer at Ghent University. During her master Cell and Gene Biotechnology her interest and knowledge on cancer immunology and bioinformatics have grown. Therefore, she conducted her thesis at the Center for Medical Genetics Ghent where she investigated the variant calling on RNA sequencing data.
At myNEO she aims to apply her knowledge to implement new pipeline features such as ensemble variant calling and tumour microenvironment deconvolution. In addition, she already broadened her data visualisation skills and developed the interactive ImmunoEngine report.
